Jasmine Cephas Jones Leaves Hamilton
Original Hamilton cast member Jasmine Cephas Jones will depart the Tony-winning tuner on December 8. The actress, who plays Maria Reynolds and Margarita "Peggy" Schuyler Van Rensselaer in the show, wrote on Instagram: "Thank you for the most life changing two years. Thank you for making a platform to show the world that diversity is important and it is a beautiful thing to just be who you are...That you are enough." She's Still Here...Thank God!
Popular soloist Sandra Bernhard, who played Broadway back in 1999 with her smash I’m Still Here…Damn It!, is premiering her newest show, Sandra Monica Blvd: Coast to Coast on December 8 in Beverly Hills, CA. The “journey to find the soul of America” will play the super-hip Sorting Room at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, which is currently featuring Michael Arden’s staging of Merrily We Roll Along on the mainstage, this weekend through December 10, before Bernard kicks off her annual holiday run at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater in New York City December 26 through December 31.

David Lang Takes Manhattan
Two more upcoming events for your calendar. On December 20, Rachel Chavkin (The Great Comet) will helm the little match girl passion, Oscar nominee David Lang's holiday classic and Pulitzer Prize-winning parable, at the Met Museum. And Lang and Mark Dion's anatomy theater is set to receive its New York premiere from January 7, 2017 through January 14. Featuring Marc Kudisch, the show will be part of the Prototype Festival at BRIC Arts.

First Look at HBO's Every Brilliant Thing
Every Brilliant Thing, which ran to much acclaim off-Broadway in 2014, has been filmed by HBO. Here's the trailer, starring Jonny Donahoe; you'll be able to catch the project on screen from December 26, just in time to get you in a positive mood for New Year's Eve.
